This is SUCH an important book for all pet owners to have! Pets need to be considered when preparing for or facing a disaster, and this is THE book that can help you formulate such a plan. As a veterinarian, I hope that my clients will read this book so that my patients can stay happy and healthy no matter what lies around the corner!

This is a valuable reference for any pet owner. Denise covers dogs and cats primarily, but includes pocket pets to livestock. What do you do when disaster threatens or is upon you? She has the answers, and the best answer is to be prepared in advance. I remember many long years ago we were evacuated from the path of the then-largest wildfire in southern California history. I didn't even pack well for my husband and me. Denise gives us checklists and a great deal more detailed advice. If we were still breeding Cardigan Welsh Corgis I would include a copy of this in every puppy packet.

Love this book will be recommending it to all clients
I'm in the industry in the Northeast. With that said I am use to New England weather however weather patterns change putting us in situations that may not be familiar to us. This book was well rounded on all types of natural and man made disasters and how to prepare and handle all types of scenarios we may end up in.
